Coding is Fun! Intro Session

Coding Is Fun

Technology is an integral part of our lives, but how do we move from simply consuming technology created by others to building technology that reflects our own dreams and imaginations? Most kids are learning some forms of computer skills in school, but coding is so much more than another boring and burdensome subject in the classroom. In this workshop, we will take a fresh look at what is coding really and why it is fun for both kids and adults. We will also do some very basic hands on work to get a feel for what it’s like to code. We encourage you to give it a try regardless of your age and background. We will also talk about how to get better at it and available resources. It will be an hour long webinar, with more time for Q&A as required.
