Week 10: Audio Coding with SuperCollider – Fall 2017 MUS 499C



Covers the Open Sound Control protocol (OSC) and how it is used by SuperCollider. In this video, we

(1) use an iPad running TouchOSC to send OSC messages to SuperCollider;

(2) on a single computer, explicitly send OSC messages from the language to the server and vice-versa, and;

(3) send OSC messages from one computer running SuperCollider to another computer running SuperCollider — first sent to the language, and then sent directly to the audio server.
