## Sparkling WordPress Theme Overview & Setup

Hey everyone,

Today we take a look at a pretty popular and, if I may say so myself, sweet free WordPress theme from the folks over at Colorlib.

After the initial theme install we activate it and are met with a simple, elegant, flat WordPress blogging theme. Right out of the box it’s a fairly good looking and very functional theme.

However there are some little hidden features that make the theme worth a fair bit more in my opinion. Most of these can be found in the Theme Options.

Featured Slider: The Sparkling theme makes it very easy to set up a “featured post” slider at the top of your blog page. This slider can show a specified number of recent posts. Those posts will need featured images or they won’t look very good at all.

Call To Action: Also built into the theme is a “Call to Action” that is very easy to set up. You tell the theme you want it to display the call to action, what the button should say, what the call to action message is… and voila you have a call to action at the top of the page.

At the end of the day if you are looking for a blogging theme, this one is probably a good theme to look into. From a nice flat look to easy to use additional features, this theme is quite functional!
