Out of Eden Learn: Promoting “Slow Looking”

This session will feature Shari Tishman (http://www.pz.gse.harvard.edu/principal-investigators.php#tishmans), former director of Project Zero and member of the Out of Eden Learn Team, in conversation with Liz Dawes Duraisingh (http://www.pz.gse.harvard.edu/project-zero-staff.php#ldawesduraisingh). Shari has worked for many years on ways to engage young people in careful observation, primarily in the contexts of art education and museums. She will share some practical strategies for promoting “slow looking”, both within the Out of Eden Learn community and beyond. She will also make connections to other Project Zero projects such as Visible Thinking (http://www.pz.gse.harvard.edu/visible_thinking.php).
