How To Fix WordPress Fatal Error
http://www.andrewqpower.com – How To Fix WordPress Fatal Error
In this short video I show you how to quickly and easily fix a wordpress fatal error (in particular, one caused by WP_Session_Tokens class).
The steps:
1, Delete all your wordpress files EXCEPT for your wp-content folder and everything inside it (plugins, themes, uploads) and EXCEPT wp-config.php file in your site’s main directory.
wp-config.php is used to connect your wordpress site to the database where all your pages/post data (and pretty much everything else) is stored… deleting this file = very bad day!
2, Download latest WordPress build from wordpress.org and extract to a folder on your computer
3, Upload fresh wordpress build via FTP to where your WordPress website is (which should still have wp-config.php and wp-content folder still intact and untouched).
4, After uploading all files, navigate to your website via your browser and the site should spring to life.
5, Relax and enjoy the rest of your day with a well-deserved beverage 🙂
If there are other WordPress videos that you’d love to see, just let me know 🙂
Thanks a lot and have a great day
